He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

I want to praise and thank God for healing me many times, and I would love to share my testimony on what He has done in my life recently. I am sharing only two wonderful miracles He has done but He has healed me many times before.

I was born into a catholic family. I was around 9 years old when my family and I accepted God in to our lives as our personal savior. From the time I was nine years old I have experienced God’s healing upon my life, and received answers to all my prayers.

When Warren & I got married, we thought we would start a family soon, but we had to wait nine years to have our son Darren.(promised by God) He is truly a blessing from God to us. 2 years later I was pregnant with my 2^nd child. When the doctor said we are going to have another baby boy, we were thrilled. During the 5^th month of my pregnancy my husband got chicken pox. Fearing for the baby I went and stayed with my sister in Dubai. However much I knew the word of God, at that moment I gave in to fear. But God showed me that He is the Almighty God. I know till I die I will never forget it.

5 days after I came home from Dubai, my eldest son & I both got chickenpox. On the way to the hospital, sister Anoja, strengthened me through the word of God that I don’t have to worry, and that she was sure nothing will happen to my baby. Her words of encouragement really helped me a lot. The doctor said because I was in my 5^th month there were chances that the baby could get affected. But this time I didn’t let fear overcome me because I was strengthened by God’s word. It really didn’t upset me at that time, but after few days satan tried to put fearful thoughts in me, but I knew that I had to keep on believing that nothing was going to happen to me or the baby. (My husband strengthened me with the word of God as well) Believers from church would give me a call to encourage me & pray for me and also helped me in so many ways. I thank God for all of them & for the wonderful fellowship we have in Church.

One night I really couldn’t sleep because the pain was so sever. I was seated in the living room around 2 or 3 am crying. I didn’t want to wake up my husband because I knew he was very tired after looking after both me and my son. I asked God, to whom can I call at this time of the hour to pray for me? I still remember gentle thought that came to me. It was as if someone spoke softly to me and said that my mom is praying for me. Then I remembered that my mother gets up everyday at 4 am (Sri Lanka time) to pray. The next day when I called her, she said that she was praying for me during that hour, and that she was continually praying for me every day. Sister Tammy, Pastor Sean and all my loved ones in Sri Lanka were praying for me too.

On October 2^nd, I gave birth to a ”wonderfully and fearfully made” perfect baby boy whom we named Jordan. From the day I conceived, the church and my family continuously prayed for me and the baby growing inside me. Prayer is such a powerful thing.

God gave us a word through Pastor Sean at his dedication, that Jordan will be like David, after God’s own heart. These exact words were re-confirmed by another pastor in U.S.A. God is so good!!

Six years ago I underwent an operation to remove my gallbladder. Since that time I couldn’t carry anything heavy and neither was I able to sleep for long time on my right side.

Many times I didn’t want to come to church because it meant I had to carry my baby for a log time, but sister Anoja said I should go to church and offered to hold the baby for me. Reluctantly I went to church that day. It was the 7^th of June, and there was a Healing & Deliverance Service that day.

When Pastor Sean began to give words of knowledge regarding healing, I prayed “God please talk through pastor and reveal your healing to me”. I had just finished praying those words when Pastor said that there is a person who’s has pain on the right side of the abdominal area. I went up for prayer and Pastor laid hands on my head and said God is saying that He as healed me, Praise God! I know He has truly healed me because I am able to carry my son without any pain and there is no swelling on my right side. I thank God for his Son Jesus, because by His stripes we are truly healed.
